Le palimpseste, désigne une matière en mutation permanente où chaque couche recouvre la précédente sans jamais totalement l’effacer. Les formes semblent calcifiées, brûlées ou régénérées, comme des organismes portant la mémoire visible de leurs transformations.
In my sculptures, the palimpsest refers to a material in constant mutation, where each layer covers the previous one without ever completely erasing it. The forms appear calcified, burned, or regenerated, like organisms carrying the visible memory of their transformations.
